Retraction

Over the duration of my stay here, this blog has been my mass media vehicle of sorts.  I've tried to keep all the information and posts pertinent, timely, and amusing on occasion.  However, I am going to have to take back something I said back in April, and if you know me, you know that I do not like to go back on my word.

The long and the short of it is that I got some late breaking news from another school, so I won't be headed out to UCLA in the fall after all.  In a surprising 180 (quite literally), I'm going to be staying in NYC and headed uptown to Columbia instead.  My mental preparedness and excitement to move out west for a little while couldn't outweigh what I felt would be the best educational prospect and simply the better fit for me in terms of program.

Things in my life have certainly been many things this year, not the least of which unexpected.  But the ups and downs has made it a good ride so far.  I'm looking forward to the rest with a good deal of anticipation.  =)  Anyway, that's the update for now!  More to come of course...  Big hugs all around!
